ABOUT THE ROLE:
The QC Manager is responsible for overseeing the coordination of Total Quality Management System for assigned product line(s).
They will also manage the quality control efforts to ensure products and services conform to company quality standards.

Motivates employees to highest potential and builds effective teams.
Promotes positive and cooperative attitudes to ensure company and customer satisfaction.
Communicates and promotes safety, compliance and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards.
Leads Quality team in the design, development and implementation of the quality system for assigned productline(s).
Coordinates management reviews and quality system audits.
Coordinates quality initiatives for assigned area and ensures consistency/alignment.
Trains and communicates system process and procedures to Quality staff.
Ensures that quality system and standards meet or exceed internal and external customer needs and expectations.
Monitor the staffing and adherence to the approved quality control plan for all project phases.
Oversees quality processes and champions continuous improvement.
Monitors quality control measures and results.
Responsible for process analysis to identify factors that impact the quality of products.
Coordinates performance improvement and corrective action plans with Quality staff.
Interfaces with vendors and suppliers to resolve product quality issues of finished products as well as incoming material.
Works with suppliers to ensure their products meet quality specifications.
Establishes strategic Develops staffing plans for direct reports and establishes work plans/schedules for projects.
Prioritizes staff workloads in order to meet objectives and appropriately serve the business.
Provides work direction and mentoring to direct reports.
Responsible for employee management including recruitment, supervision, disciplinary actions/terminations and performance appraisals/objectives.
Partners with Human Resources on employee development and succession planning initiatives.
Motivates/encourages teamwork among the workforce and maintain high employee morale and positive attitudes to achieve high level customer satisfaction.
Leads/participates in projects with cross-functional teams to address business opportunities and focus on cost reduction, new machine installation/development, improvement of operational efficiency (e.
g.
, creation reporting tools and the subsequent research/analysis), housekeeping, safety and quality initiatives.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Required Education:
Bachelor's/Undergraduate Degree or equivalent Additional Education Preferred:
Master's/Graduate Degree Field of Study Preferred:
Quality Engineering or other related discipline.
Required Work
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of Quality Assurance/Control experience.
Must have QC Management experience with working in Plaquemines LNG plant.
Required Training/Certifications:
Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) certification preferred.
Required Computer and Software Skills:
Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office applications.
Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel to company locations.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Preferred work experience of a statistical, engineering, or technical background.
Must have a thorough working knowledge of ISO, and commercial standards.
Demonstrated knowledge/experience with local, state and federal employment laws and other government compliance regulations.
Ability to be responsive and persuasive at all levels of the organization.
Effective communication and analytical skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects/priorities.
Strong customer focus and sense of urgency to business needs.
Must be familiar with a wide range of reliability, environmental, and qualification programs.
Ability to monitor effectiveness of vendor quality programs as well as development reports and implement corrective action programs on an as needed basis.
Proven ability to team lead, and meet business and financial goals.
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators.
Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
